Why won't my image upload?
You're trying to add an image by Upload in the editor but it won't finish? Work through these checks in order.
1. Is your file size and format right?
Very large files (especially 10+ MB photos from your phone) can get stuck during upload. Try compressing the image before you upload — most phones offer a "small/medium size" option when you share. Use JPG, PNG, or WebP format; special formats like HEIC might not be supported by all browsers.
2. Your connection might be slow
If you have a slow or spotty internet connection, the upload can stall halfway through. Switch to Wi-Fi or try again when your connection is better.
3. Refresh and try again
Sometimes a browser session gets stuck and blocks the upload. Refresh the page (Ctrl+R / Cmd+R), click the image again, and start over. You won't lose anything because your changes were already saved.
4. Try a different browser or device
If the problem keeps happening, try an incognito window or a different browser. Browser extensions (especially ad blockers) can sometimes block uploads.
Alternative: use stock or AI images
If you can't upload your own file, use the Search for images… box in the image panel to pick from free stock images, or let AI generate one that fits your business. That way you can finish your site without waiting.
