AI content generation not working
If you try to generate text or images but the process doesn't complete or you get an error, it's usually one of three reasons: you're out of credits, your free trial has ended, or the service is temporarily overloaded.
1. Check your credit balance
AI generation uses credits — the refresh button in the editor shows how many credits you'll spend (for example, "Refresh (1 credit)"). If your balance is too low, generation won't start. Open Credits & Usage from the panel to see your balance; if you're out of credits, buy more.
2. Your free trial may have ended
New users get a limited number of free text and image generations. When this ends, you'll need credits to keep generating. If you're curious about how credits work, check out What are credits?
3. Temporary overload — try again
The AI service sometimes experiences brief periods of high demand. During these times, generation might error or take longer. Wait a minute or two and click the same button again — most of the time, the second attempt completes without problems.
4. Refresh the page
If the issue persists, refresh the page (Ctrl+R / Cmd+R) and try generating again. Any content you've already saved won't be lost.
You won't be charged for failed generations. If your credits went down, it's from successful generations.
