Connect your Google Calendar
When you connect Google Calendar, your Wibigo appointments automatically write to Google, and busy times from your Google calendar also remove availability from your booking page. This way, you won't get double-booked.
Steps
- Open the Appointments tab on your panel and switch to calendar view.
- Click Connect calendar (or Sync calendars).
- Choose Google Calendar from the provider list and press Connect Google Calendar.
- In the window that opens, log in with your Google account and grant calendar access. One connection is permanent.
- In the Calendar to add appointments to field, choose which Google calendar will receive your Wibigo appointments (default: your primary calendar).
- The first sync takes a few seconds; keep the window open while it runs.
How two-way sync works
- Wibigo → Google: Every appointment from your site writes to your chosen Google calendar as an event; guests automatically get a calendar invite.
- Google → Wibigo: All busy times from your Google calendars (including holidays) are automatically read and removed from available booking slots. Google events appear read-only in the Wibigo calendar — if you want to edit, you edit from Google.
You can disconnect anytime in the sync settings by clicking Disconnect.
note
If you see a "Google Calendar connection lost" warning (e.g., you changed your Google password), just reconnect from the same place.
tip
If you want to separate different services into different calendars, create a new calendar under New calendar and assign each service its own calendar.
