Measure your campaigns with promotional links
You share your site link on Instagram, WhatsApp, or email — but you don't know which one is working. Promotional links create a tracking link for each channel; that way you see exactly how many people came from where.
Steps
- Open the Promotional Links tab in the Marketing group in the control panel.
- Click New campaign.
- In the Label field, write a name that reminds you of the campaign (e.g.,
Instagram Bio — October). - In the Destination page field, choose where visitors land — your home page or a specific product page.
- From the Channel section, pick where you'll share: Instagram Bio, Instagram Story, Facebook Post, WhatsApp, Email Newsletter, and more are ready to go.
- Click Save link, then select Copy from the list to get the link and share it on your chosen channel.
Which campaign works?
After you share the link, the Clicks column in the table shows how many visits each link brought. Sort by Most clicked to see your best-performing channel right away. To see what visitors did on your site, go to the Stats tab — visitors from a promotional link appear as a traffic source.
Share the same campaign on two channels with separate links (e.g., one in Instagram Bio, one in WhatsApp). After a week, compare the clicks; redirect your budget and time to the channel that wins.
Creating new tracking links is available on the Pro plan. You can copy and keep using your existing links on any plan.
