Restore your site to a previous version

If you're not happy with a change you made to your site, don't worry — Wibigo keeps old versions of your site, and you can restore it to any version you want.

Steps

1. In your control panel, go to the Websites tab.
2. Open Advanced settings and click Version History.
3. You'll see a list of saved versions — look at the date of each to choose which version you want to restore to.
4. Preview the version you chose first — make sure its content is what you want.
5. Confirm the restore. Your site returns to the version you chose.
6. To move the restored version to your live site, run the Publish step again.

note

Important: Restore overwrites your current edits. After you restore, any changes you made (that aren't saved in another version) will be lost. If you're unsure, preview the version first and compare the content.

tip

Before you make a big change, save your current version with Save — that way you always have a clean version to fall back to.
