Invite and manage team members

You don't have to manage your site alone — invite an employee or business partner and give them access only to the areas they need.

Steps

  1. Open Settings in your control panel.
  2. Go to Permissions & Ownership in the left menu.
  3. Click Invite Contributor.
  4. Enter the email address of the person you want to invite and choose their access level — for example, an Editor who can edit the site, or a Store Manager who only manages the shop side.
  5. Send the invite. Once the person joins using the link in their email, they'll appear in the Contributors list.

Remove an invite or access

  1. On the Permissions & Ownership page, look at your Contributors list.
  2. Select the person and remove their access. You can also cancel pending invites from the same list.
note

The Owner always has full access. If you want to hand the site over to someone else completely, use the Transfer Ownership option on the same page — this cannot be undone, so be careful.

Permission changes can affect related subscriptions; it's worth reading the warnings on the page before making a critical change.
